He is a former director of Marshall & Ilsley Bank, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Associated Merchandising Corporation, New York City; Armtek Corporation, New Haven, Connecticut; Bell & Howell Company, Chicago, Illinois; Congoleum Industries, Milwaukee; Cooper Industries Inc., Houston, Texas; Gardner-Denver Company, Dallas, Texas; DeVry, Inc., Evanston, Illinois; Duty Free Shoppers Group Limited of San Francisco, California; Quantum Chemical Corporation and Dollar Dry Dock Savings Bank of New York City.
