Experience: Finance/Office Manager, Buckingham Realty Corp. Ms. Mendoza successfully managed an office of 23 (real estate agents and administrative staff), and was involved in the financial portion of all real estate transactions. Assisted the Managing Broker in the evaluation of current and potential future lending relationships, 1986-1991. Accounting/Assistant Director, Jamaica Housing Improvement, Inc. (a not-for-profit housing advocacy agency). From 1991-1997, Ms. Mendoza was primarily responsible for preparing the State, City and Private Sector RFP’s, and when approved, managed the funds accordingly; she also provided counseling and advocacy services when needed.
